SOUTH WEST AREA MEMBERS' HOLD THEIR BEST BARBECUE EVER !
On Sunday the 9th July the south west area members' held their annual barbecue and for the first time this was held at the home of Tim Waterson who borrowed fellow member John Tranmer's barbecue.
One member ventured across the severn bridge from as far away as Brecon in his 1957 Austin A105 ! and the rest of us were from the Somerset / Bristol area. The weather was lovely although it got a little hot at times but we were able to find some shade indoors. Our host provided plenty of liquid refreshment and of course being in Somerset most of this came in the form of cider for those who were not driving. Although this year's barbecue was held at a smaller venue than normal this brought people closer togather and improved the banter.
